The Spanish Pilgrimage Route, also known as the "Way of St. James", generally refers to the pilgrimage route from all over Europe to the Spanish Catholic Holy Land - Santiago de Compostela, ending at the Cathedral of the District, Jesus Christ. The remains of St. James, one of the Twelve Apostles, are stored here. Since the Middle Ages, it has attracted countless believers to pay their respects. It is one of the three major pilgrimage sites in Catholicism.
The Spanish Pilgrimage Route is listed as a "World Cultural Heritage" by the United Nations. Due to the beautiful scenery along the way, and the long journey away from the hustle and bustle, it is also good for calming the soul. In addition to believers, it also attracts many hikers who like long-distance hiking. They all embarked on a pilgrimage.
Camino Frances
The French Route is the most popular pilgrimage route. Starting from the French town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (SJPP), we cross the Pyrenees on the French-Spanish border and head all the way to the holy land of Santiago. The total journey is 780 kilometers, with views of lofty mountains and vast plains, and passing through many unique small towns.
One road, all kinds of people, one thousand kinds of moods. Everyone who walks on the pilgrimage road will create their own story. It may be ups and downs, or it may be ordinary and unique along the way. And I also have a story of my own to share. Life If there is no accident for a while, go create a story!
